Acceptance
A stranger to my own kin
Under a new summer sweat
Every pore outwardly glistens
With every dying cell within
June hath merry the cloud
But September becomes December
And selfless love
Gets caught in the shroud
Every attachment that was
Now settles as
An old world in a new world
And transforms into a because
Twenty-seven was a fool's dream
The future of personal reach
Is is as random as a blink
Forever after is up to me
